Campership has been an integral part of Farm & Wilderness. Since the very beginning, Ken and Susan Webb were committed to a diverse and accessible camp community. They knew that camp is enriched and strengthened by an inclusive population and today we are as committed as ever to making camp as accessible as possible.
Here’s how campership works today: As part of the registration process, families can choose to fill out a campership application, but do not have to do so. This form asks many questions related to finance and gives us a clear picture of your financial situation and there is also plenty of space to describe anything else it would be helpful for us to know. We hold your information in strict confidence. When in doubt, please explain MORE, as we’d rather read a little more than wish we had more information. Give yourself at least 20 minutes to fill it out. Awards are announced in the second week of February; however, the deadline to submit campership applications is January 15th. Applying for Barn Day Camp? Your campership deadline is May 1.
Please note: You must be registered for camp to apply for campership.
Don’t think you’ll qualify for financial aid? Apply anyway. Each request will be carefully considered. Last year, there were 172 campership awards made. We are never able to grant all requests, but we hope to be able to someday.
Any questions about campership? Please let us in admissions know. We’re always happy to talk.
