Yesterday, we had our first Topsy Turvy Tuesday of the year! Topsy Turvy Tuesday is a beloved tradition at the Barn Day Camp. The whole morning is – you guessed it – topsy and turvy. Campers and staff dress in costumes, have special activities (like the giant water-slide) with a group of campers different than their regular animal group and finish the morning with a square dance. This year, we had campers dressed as bear cubs, a chicken, a robot, many captain underpants, and more! It was a fantastic day!
Today, the Hawks (our oldest campers) are off on their 2-night overnight! Tomorrow the rest of our camp (including campers as young as 4) head out for an age-appropriate overnight wilderness trip. We conclude session 2 on Friday morning with a closing ceremony and get camp ready for session 3 starting on July 16!!
