Welcome to our first Resource News blog! For those of you interested in our campus’ efforts in carbon reduction and energy efficiency, we have plenty of news to share.
We’ve just refinished the floors in the Tamarack Farmhouse. Now, I know that floor re-finishing may not sound that exciting to many, but I am jazzed about the product that we used on our beautiful floors. We used a Vermont polyurethane made from whey, which is a byproduct of the cheese-making process!
We have been using this product for a couple of years. We like because it is durable, there is no harsh chemical smell, and it is not derived from petroleum.

And if you are here in Vermont visiting Farm & Wilderness, you can purchase it right down the road at Goodro Lumber!
Stay tuned for more Resource updates!
