120 Gallons A Week! - Farm & Wilderness

Written by Chantal Deojay | July 12, 2012

Now that everyone is on board and the milk is going into the bulk tank, we are producing more than 120  gallons a week.  We process every other day and deliver the milk to the various camps, too. Nice.

We also have started doing the the Farmer’s Market at the Barn Day Camp, which starts at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. The offerings are both delicious and beautiful. Campers from the Barn Day Camp and Tamarack Farm harvest, deliver and sell at the market. If you’re here and have time, you should check it out.

We offer more than produce! For those of you who don’t eat your vegetables (for shame), there is also hand-made soap, yarn (hand spun and commercially spun), eggs, and some beautiful flowers.

There are occasionally some fun items made by campers and staff.

Please come check out the BDC Farm Stand!
