Vermont residents are resilient. As you may know, hurricane Irene caused major flooding damage in Vermont, with water levels well exceeding hundred year flood marks. Farm and Wilderness camps are located in one of the most affected areas and yet were fortunately not as badly damaged as other properties. Access to the camps is severely restricted and telephone lines are still down. Please use my tulio@farmandwilderness.org email to contact me and if you leave me a number I can call you back.
I encourage everyone to visit the Farm and Wilderness Facebook page to get the latest updates, to appreciate the scale of reconstruction necessary in the area and to see the great work people are doing to put things back together.
Peace
Tulio
