For all of you campers out there who are back to juggling schoolwork, sports and special interests and still trying to cover your social obligations spread out over miles and miles, I want you to know that if you miss the trees, think about how much they miss you too.
I went to meeting circle this morning and it’s just not the same without you all. The trees miss the attention and compliments you pay them, and the rocks miss the warm bodies treating them like some sort of egg that will never hatch. Even the ground, who doesn’t always appreciate being poked with sticks, misses the tickle of feet.
