Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just learning your seasonings, we are looking for staff to cook the meals at camp. Meals are made from scratch and support all dietary restrictions - with no fryers. Our kitchens are woven into our camps, open to campers and staff to help in; Cooks are a part of the community!
Creativity Encouraged
Each of our kitchens offer a different challenge. Some are feeding 200 people a day, others are cooking over campfires. We don’t have a set menu – we rely on the creativity and knowledge of our Head Cook and Cooks to create healthy, high-quality meals for our community. What’s your favorite dish? Can we try it at camp?
Gain Experience Cooking Large Amounts
At our two largest camps our kitchen staff are making three meals a day + snacks for 200+ community members. Gain unique experience cooking hand-made meals in larger quantities – no over-warmed frozen food here!
Vegan, Vegetarian, & Gluten-Free Welcome!
We serve a diverse community and every meal has vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergen-sensitive options. This is a great place to learn more about cooking for those alternatives and sharing your own love of cooking those. We don’t believe meat should be at every meal!
Campers are a Part of the Kitchen
Campers help set tables, do the dishes, and prepare meals. At our older camps campers sometimes even help with the planning! Expect to be around kids– it is a summer camp!
Get Out and Experience Camp Magic
Don't just stay in the kitchen all day - get out and see our animals and gardens, take a swim in the lake, and take part in creating camp magic for our campers. Cooks are a part of the community, and our campers love seeing them around!
