It’s been a hot week at the Barn Day Camp. The lake is beautiful and I finally got to go in and lifeguard. Lots of water activities including jumps & dives, water volleyball, PFD (personal flotation device) tours of the lakes. We are also doing a lot of gardening and playing with the animals.
Today a group finished up a strawberry rhubarb crisp that will be served for a snack. Multiple groups participated in harvesting the rhubarb, cooking the rhubarb over a fire, picking the strawberries and making fresh butter to accompany it – YUM!
Lots of fun happening at the BDC!!
