The costs and dates listed on this page are for F&W’s Overnight Camps and Barn Day Camp for summer 2014.
Overnight Camp Dates & Rates for 2014
Full Session June 25 to August 10 $7,675
July Session June 25 to July 18 $4,775
J1 Session June 25 to July 6 $2,625
August Session July 20 to August 10 $4,775
A1 Session July 20 to August 1 $2,625
A deposit of $500 is due with enrollment. Full tuition is due on February 28.
The tuition covers normal program expenses, laundry, one camp photograph or newsletter (which includes pictures) and a Fair T-shirt for Full and August Session campers.
Open accounts from previous years must be paid in full before an application for a returning camper or sibling can be accepted. The current tuition must be paid in full by February 28, 2014. Full tuition for applicants who enroll later than February 28th must accompany the enrollment application. Failure to meet payment deadline can result in cancellation of enrollment.
Opening Day for Full Season, July and J1 campers: Please arrive between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25.
Pick Up Day for J1 Campers: Please collect your camper between 9 a.m and 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 6.
Pick Up Day at the end of the July session for Timberlake, Indian Brook, Flying Cloud, Saltash Mountain and Questers: Families may arrive any time after 9 a.m. on Friday, July 18. Please say your farewells and leave campus by noon unless you are planning on staying for lunch (and please inform your camp director, who will alert the cooks).
Full-Season Visiting Day is on Friday, July 18: Please say your farewells and leave campus by 5 p.m.
Tamarack Farm Visiting Day on Saturday, July 19: TF’s Visiting Day will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Please bring a picnic lunch and TF will provide dinner. The evening’s entertainment will be a variety show.
Opening Day for August and A1 campers: Please arrive between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 20.
Pick Up Day for A1 Campers: Please collect your camper between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1.
Fair Weekend: Join campers, staff, camper families, alumni, friends and neighbors for our 2014 Fair on Aug. 9. For more information, please go here.
Pick Up Day for Full and August Campers: Please arrive between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10 and depart campus by noon.
Extra expenses, if incurred, will be reflected on end-of-summer bill. They include the following:
- Store Charges
- Store inventories are restricted to essentials such as toiletries, batteries, stamps, etc.
- Fair Charges
- Our annual Fair on August 9 is a fund-raising event for camperships, or scholarships. Full and August Session campers receive tickets for Fair.
- Transportation Charges
- If you send your child on one of our chartered, chaperoned buses or if we need to pick your child up at the airport, etc., there will be an additional charge payable in advance.
- Baggage and Shipping Charges
- The cost of shipping baggage home via UPS.
- Lost and Found
- The cost of shipping home lost and found. Note: only those personal belongings that are identifiable and believed to be worth $20 or more will be shipped back home. All unclaimed lost and found belongings will be donated to local shelters.
- Medical Expenses
- Medical expenses not covered by the camper health and accident insurance will also be billed to you at the end of the summer.
Other Points to Remember
Two week camp sessions, called J1 and A1, are open to 9- and 10-year-old first time Timberlake and Indian Brook campers only.
All children 11-years or older are only eligible to attend the July, August, and Full Season sessions. We do not offer two-week sessions for children over 10 years of age.

Barn Day Camp Session 1 June 23 to July 4 $900
Barn Day Camp Session 2 July 7 to July 18 $900
Barn Day Camp Session 3A (three week) July 21 to August 8 $1,260
Barn Day Camp Session 3B (two weeks) July 21 to August 1 $900
Barn Day Camp Session 3C (one week) August 4 to August 8 $410
There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee due with the Barn Day Camp application. Full payment of tuition is due on June 15th.
There is a multi-session discount of $50. Session 3 is a special session where families can choose a one, two or three-week options. Dates are as above.
The Hawks/Ravens program is an option for ages 8-10 years. This BDC program offers more in-depth experience in canoeing, rock-climbing and hiking, with a 2-night overnight trip. This program is $1,075 per two-week session. There is also a special 3A Session (3 weeks), which combines two weeks of Hawks/Ravens with one week of regular programming. This special 3A Session is $1,410.
